"I love when a good idea grows and turns into something greater, taking on a life of its own.

When like-minded people find ways to contribute and turn that idea into action, beautiful things happen." (Mark Kalat)

Fuel Up to Play 60 is a program founded by the National Dairy Council and NFL, in collaboration with USDA, that empowers students to take charge in making small, everyday changes at school. Students can win cool prizes, like an NFL player visit or Super Bowl tickets, for choosing good-for-you foods and getting active for at least 60 minutes every day. We want kids to make a difference not only in their lives, but also their community.

The Governor's visit went well. He, the Secretary of Education Holcombe, and the Under Secretary at the Department of Agriculture, Kevin Concanon, all had nothing but great comments to say about our kids, our staff, and our school. Thanks everyone for your part in making this such a successful visit.
